A wonderful combination of Walkerswood’s traditional Jerk Seasoning paste and ripe Jamaican bananas forms the base of this tantalizingly tasty Jerk BBQ sauce.

Walkerswood Jerk BBQ Sauce brings a traditional creamy, aromatic BBQ flavour, with a bit of extra ‘zing’ to your party. Season your meat or vegetables with one of our Walkerswood Jerk seasonings or Jerk Marinade, then brush on generous amounts of Walkerswood Jerk BBQ Sauce to start. Brush on more during grilling to bring new heights of flavour.

 The banana lends a fruity sweetness which softens the fiery spice of the Jerk.

Water, banana puree, cane sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, modified corn starch, caramel, garlic powder, scallion, Scotch bonnet peppers, sea salt, black pepper, pimento, paprika, Potassium sorbate (preservative), nutmeg, Citric acid, thyme.

Jerk BBQ Ribs

This is an excellent Caribbean marinade for Chicken, Fish, Beef and Turkey. The combination of spices, as well as the mild heat from the scotch bonnet peppers, make this a must-have in your cupboard.
Walkerswood Barbecue Ribs
Servings 4 People



  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients and coat ribs. 
  2. Cover and refrigerate for about 4 hours.
  3. Light the barbecue or pre-heat oven to 150C.
  4. Barbecue the ribs for 20-40minutes turning occasionally and basting with sauce.
  5.  If baking cover with foil and cook, basting occasionally for about 1 hour.
